It's hard to worm away. He's not mean like Yuri can be with the reporters or sly like Viktor and it seems the more reticent he is, the more single word answers he gives, respectfully, but guarded, the more questions they want to ask him.

But then someone over on the other side does something outrageous (he can't tell over everyone's heads if it's the newlyweds or Christophe. Or both.) but everyone's head turns for just a second and he all but bolts, walking instead, but fast, straight around the corner and almost bowling Yuri over.

He catches him though. Isn't that nice?

He doesn't have some kind of epiphany about that, exactly, but suddenly having his arms full of the other skater makes everything in his head just stop for a moment on an "oh." even though he's not actually sure what he's "oh"ing about.
