Otabek does eventually get pulled into a "conversation" but it mostly seems to be Emil, who's boxed in a bit by him and Mickey trying desperately to get any kind of conversation at all to happen on his end of the table. Otabek does actually know how to have one of those, he just mostly doesn't see the point, but he gets pulled into be surprisingly more talkative, if only to keep his mind busy.
When Viktor orders a third round of drinks, though, he shakes his head, makes motions towards leaving. There's no real good way for Yuri to follow suit without it being obvious, though, so he tosses out,
"You want to head back with me, or are you going to stay and watch Viktor take off all his clothes again."
